ELAINE STRENO ANNOUNCES RETIREMENT AFTER 33 YEARS LEADING SECOND HARVEST FOOD BANK

Elaine Streno, the Chief Executive Officer of Second Harvest Food Bank of East Tennessee, announced her retirement later this year after an impressive 33 years of service with the organization. Under her leadership, the food bank significantly expanded its impact, extending its reach across 18 counties and distributing an estimated 381,875,000 pounds of food to communities throughout the region.
Board of Directors Chair David Owens praised Streno for shaping the organization into a strong and respected institution, highlighting her vision, steady guidance, and deep commitment to the mission, which have ensured its long-term success.
