MARCH 20 DEADLINE APPROACHING FOR TENNESSEE WILDLIFE CALENDAR PHOTO CONTEST
The deadline for the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA) 2026-27 photo contest is fast approaching on March 20. Photographers are encouraged to submit up to 10 of their best images featuring wildlife species native to Tennessee, as well as hunting, fishing, or boating scenes. Winning entries will be featured in the Tennessee Wildlife annual calendar, which covers August through July.
Submissions must be horizontal (landscape) JPEG files, suitable for printing at least 8.5 by 11 inches, with a minimum resolution of 300 pixels per inch. Entries can be uploaded via the calendar contest section on tnwildlife.org. Selected photographers receive a $60 cash stipend per image, and photos may also appear in other TWRA publications, on their website, or across social media.
Tennessee Wildlife serves as the official TWRA magazine, with subscription options available at $10 for one year, $17 for two years, or $25 for three years through the donation center at gooutdoorstennessee.com. The TWRA is tasked with protecting and managing Tennessee’s fish and wildlife resources while promoting public safety through law enforcement and education on the state’s waterways.
