BRADLEY COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE INVESTIGATING FATAL HIT AND RUN INCIDENT ON HIGHWAY 64
The Bradley County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a tragic fatal hit-and-run incident that occurred around 6:30 a.m. on March 11, 2026, in the 6000 block of Highway 64. A pedestrian was first struck by an unknown black vehicle, which sustained significant front-end damage and fled the scene.
Shortly afterward, a government employee passing through the area spotted the injured individual lying in the roadway and still alive. While the employee attempted to turn around and block traffic to provide aid, another motorist struck the victim, inflicting fatal injuries. The victim’s identity has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
