Kelvin Davidson, 64
Kelvin Davidson, age 64 of Jamestown, passed away on Monday, March 9, 2026 at his home.
Kelvin was born into a loving family atmosphere and raised to value hard work, taught to love family, and developed faith in God which continued to grow throughout his lifetime. While life took Kelvin’s three siblings in different directions, he treasured memories of his family and growing up on the Cochran farm. Kelvin married the love of his life, Michelle, on June 27, 1982 and together they got to experience a life of ‘true love’. Holding hands, laughter, and kisses filled the past 43 years of their life with one another. They were blessed with two boys, Josh and Kale, and Kelvin worked hard to be a great provider, husband and father. His family was never lacking and frequently enjoyed walks together, mountain hikes, snow skiing trips, and beach trips. In 2016 and 2017, grandchildren entered Kelvin’s life and he become a beloved Paw Paw. Rich laughter and love continued to fill his family’s homes. In 2021, Kelvin moved to Tennessee to be close with his grandkids. Here in Tennessee, he deepened his faith and developed strong relationships within the Christian congregation of Jehovah’s witnesses. Kelvin will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His quiet, calm and respectful manners made him a friend of many. During his final days, he reflected much on the future hope of life without pain and sickness. So in conclusion, our prayer is the same and one as his, “Our Father in the heavens, let your name be sanctified. Let your kingdom come. Let your will take place, as in heaven, also on earth”.
