FDA RECALLING NEARLY 90,000 BOTTLES OF CHILDREN’S IBUPROFEN
The FDA is recalling children’s ibuprofen after the recalling firm received complaints of a gel-like mass and black particles in the products.
Strides Pharma, Inc. is recalling 89,592 bottles of ibuprofen, distributed nationwide.
The product, Children’s Ibuprofen Oral Suspension, USP, 100 mg per 5mL, 4 FL OZ (120 mL) bottle, was manufactured for Taro Pharmaceuticals USA, Inc.
The recalled products have lot numbers 7261973A and 7261974A with an expiry date of Jan. 31, 2027.
The FDA has designated a Class II recall, meaning exposure to the product may cause temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences.
