The Monterey Police Department and Putnam County Sheriff’s Office are on the scene of a reported shots fired call on Arrowhead Drive.

This is an active crime scene.

Law enforcement is requesting that everyone stay away from this scene until further notice.

The sheriff’s office says there are currently no life-threatening injuries.

Monterey High School and Burks Elementary School were placed under a soft lockdown because of the incident.
