The TVA Board of Directors has selected Mike Skaggs as the interim president and CEO.

Skaggs is said to have decades of experience at TVA and in the broader nuclear energy industry, and to have previously served as senior vice president of Operations and Construction at the Watts Bar Nuclear Plant, where he played a key role in leading the successful completion of Unit 2 in 2016.
