CHARLES HALL MUSEUM SUSPECT ARRESTED BY MONROE COUNTY LAW ENFORCEMENT
A suspect in the attempted burglary at the Charles Hall Museum on April 24 has been arrested.
Monroe County Sheriff’s detectives, working with the Tellico Police Department, identified and took the individual into custody after making contact at a residence on Scott Street. Investigators used home video footage, social media images, and the suspect’s own statements to establish probable cause. With the individual’s consent, a search of the residence uncovered Snapchat messages, photographs of him wearing a hoodie and ski mask, and security footage showing him returning home in clothing matching the suspect’s.
Following his arrest, the man became combative and made threats of further harm upon release. He has been charged with Attempted Burglary.
