TDOT Crews have officially begun demolishing the existing SR 24 bridge over the Obed River in Cumberland County, following the completion of most overhead and underground utility relocations.

Over the coming weeks, workers will continue removing the old structure in preparation for construction of the new bridge and surrounding grading work.
