Shirley L. (Loden) McFalls, age 80, passed away Monday, May 4, 2026 at Laurelbrook in Dayton, Tennessee.

Shirley was born on May 15, 1945 in Dayton Tennessee and was a lifelong resident of Rhea County.  One of her favorite things was working in her yard with her flowers.  She loved to water them and watch them grow.  She was especially proud of her red crepe myrtles.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Floyd and Ruth Letner Loden, son; Robert Scott Loden, daughter; Julie Waldo, sister; May Loden, and brother; Frank Loden.

Shirley is survived by her husband of 47 years; Oscar McFalls Jr., sons; Michael L. Waldo, Jeff Loden, and Johnny Loden, sisters; Margie Brown and Betty Loden, grandchildren; Scott Rear, Chrissy, Cherish, David, Melinda and Johnathan Loden, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Shirley will be on Thursday, May 7, 2026 at 2PM in the chapel ofVaughn Funeral Home with Brother Jimmy Loden officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1PM until the start of the service.  Interment will follow at Spring City Memory Gardens.
