J. Lester Adams, 69, passed away on May 5, 2026. Born in Crossville, TN on April 25, 1957, to parents Jonah and Betty Adams, Lester lived a life full of purpose, love, and hard work.

Lester is survived by his loving wife Regina Kay Adams and his two daughters, Krystal (Daniel) Evon and Kylie (Dylan) Moore. He was a proud grandfather to Alivia, Kymber, and Harper Evon, and Ridlee Moore, who added joy and vitality to his life. Lester is also remembered by his brother Jeff Adams, sisters Wanda Reed, Patty (Craig) Carmen, and Kathy (Greg) Bates, step-mother Joan Adams, special caregiver Dylan Elmore, as well as a host of extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents Jonah Glen Adams and Betty June Howard Adams, his first granddaughter, Kirsten Evon, his brothers Christopher and Timmy Adams, his in-laws Elizabeth (Othen) Keck, Jessie Keck, Charlie Davenport, Horace Keck, Dorothy Davenport, and Lila Keck.

Visitation services for Lester will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 12:00 pm CDT, at the Crossville Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., located at 2653 N. Main St. Crossville, Crossville, Tennessee, 38555. The funeral service will follow at the same venue at 2:00 pm CDT. He will be laid to rest in Fredonia Cemetery immediately following the service.
