Connie Sheldon, 77
Connie Sheldon, age 77 of Rockwood, passed away on Thursday, May 28th, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 6th, 1948. Connie was a loving, fun, hilarious, and family focused woman. Her storytelling ability was unmatched, as she was the best around at it. Her family meant the world to her, but only second after her fur babies. She adored animals and loved to watch the birds, squirrels, and other animals from her window. She loved each and every one of her cats and dogs as if they were her own children too. In the midst of loving her family and animals, she always found time to tend to her garden and planting flowers. Her family likes to think she kept Hobby Lobby in business, as she managed to have almost every collectible they ever sold. They also discovered she was a WWE fan in her later years, even remembering what time and channel the matches would come on. Before the passing of her late husband, Tommy, she spent a lot of time with him tinkering on old cars and trucks, as that quality time was important to her. In her younger years, she attended and completed the program at Mid State Medical Academy in Nashville.
Connie was also very community oriented. She worked at Signature Healthcare where she served as activities director for over 22 years, and worked with the local city and government officials in Rockwood on many different projects and outreach. She was a huge supporter of Rockwood Football also.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Arthur Paul Fox & Faye Barnes Fox; and her late husband: Tommy Sheldon. She is survived by:
