Everett Lee Polson, 86
Mr. Everett Lee Polson of Albany, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at Pickett Care & Rehabilitation Center in Byrdstown, Tennessee, having attained the age of 86 years, 8 months, and 26 days. He was born on Friday, September 29, 1939, in the Concord Community of Clinton County, Kentucky, the son of Horace & Uldean (Sheffield) Polson.
Everett was a lifelong farmer, carpenter, and retired from Sothern Bell/Prairie Farms for over 30 years. He was a graduate of Clinton County High School, a member of Fairland Baptist Church, and proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Cuban Missile Crisis. Everett enjoyed working, farming, and listening to country and bluegrass music. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, J.G. Polson, Randall Polson; and sister, Patsy Smith.
He is survived by his loving wife of over 49 years, Martha Elizabeth (Davis) Polson of Albany, Kentucky; son, Tony (& Kim) Polson of Bee Spring, Kentucky; daughter, Jacklyn Polson of Albany, Kentucky; brother, Delbert (& Brenda) Polson of New Castle, Indiana; sister, Mattie Denny of Albany, Kentucky; granddaughter, Toni Polson; along with several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
The funeral service will be conducted on Sunday, June 28, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. in the Memory Chapel of Campbell-New Funeral Home in Albany, Kentucky with Bro. Allen Polston and Bro. Harvey Dicken officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 27, 2026, after 6:00 P.M. and again on Sunday, June 28, 2026, after 8:00am until the funeral hour. Burial will follow in the Fairland Cemetery in Clinton County, Kentucky with military honors by the Monticello D.A.V. Chapter #105. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Fairland Cemetery Fund.
