Mr. Issac Nathaniel Cox, age 45 of Wartburg, passed away Saturday July 4, 2026, at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville. He was a 1999 graduate of Central High School. Issac worked as a truck driver and heavy equipment operator for many years. Issac was a prankster. He was always smiling and enjoyed joking around with and teasing those he loved. He was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents: Fate, Jr and Edith Cox, and Earl and Norma Cross.

Along with several aunts and uncles.

He is survived by his wife of 27 years: Bethany Cox.

His six children: Zachary, Austin, Madison, Katlyn, Noah, and Emily Cox.

His grandson: Oakley Cox.

His parents: Richard and Rhonda Cox.

One brother and sister-in-law: Josh and Tammy Cox.

One sister: Sherry Cox.

His mother and father-in-law: Herman and Jane Hansen.

His brothers and sisters-in-law: Eric Hansen, Kristin Hansen, and Brian and Celeste Hansen.

Along with a host of other family, friends, and loved ones.

The family will receive friends Friday July 10, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home in Wartburg. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 PM. Graveside services will be held Saturday morning at 11:00 AM in Armes Chapel Cemetery.
