Mrs. Linda Norene (Beaty) Wilmoth of Cookeville, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at her residence in Overton County, Tennessee, having attained the age of 78 years, 3 months, and 20 days. She was born on December 5, 1947, in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Willard Fountain & Nora Annis (Smallwood) Beaty. Linda was of the Christian faith and enjoyed flowers and gardening. She had formerly worked as a factory worker in the clothing industry. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Wilmoth; son, Shawn Baker; siblings, Kenneth Travis Beaty, Willard Kenton “Red” Beaty, Donna Nicholas, and Dorothy Crawford.

She is survived by her siblings, Norma Wright, Dean (& Don) Gray, Lois Gray, and Rhonda G. Neal; along with several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

A graveside service will be conducted on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. CST in the Cave Springs Cemetery in Clinton County, Kentucky.
