Evenflo is recalling specific Reo by Revolve360 child safety seats because the headrest can shift unexpectedly during a crash, increasing the risk of injury for young passengers.

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), affected seats fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 213, “Child Restraint Systems,” when installed in certain rear-facing or forward-facing positions.

The recall impacts Reo by Revolve360 seats across six color variants—Nantucket, Danvers, Chelsea, Holden, Brookline, and Lenox—sold in both the United States and Canada.

Remedy and Next Steps

Evenflo is currently developing a fix for the defect. Notification letters informing owners of the safety risk are expected to go out by August 17, 2026, with follow-up notices sent once the official remedy is ready.

In the meantime, Evenflo states that parents can continue using the affected seats safely with specific adjustments:

• Forward-facing mode: Restrict the headrest setting strictly to positions 1 through 9.

• Rear-facing mode: Restrict the headrest setting strictly to positions 1 through 10.
