Bobby “Paul” Watson, age 73 of Evensville, passed away at his home on Monday, July 28, 2026. He was born in Spring City on July 14, 1953, the son of the late William and Cardie (Pelfrey) Watson. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Linda (Creek) Watson in 2019, his brother, James “Buddy” Watson, and his granddaughter, Jasmine Watson.

Paul spent his entire life in Rhea County. He worked as a welder for many years before transitioning to construction. He enjoyed fishing and camping, and he was a member of New Harmony Freewill Baptist Church.

Paul is survived by his son, Chris (Missy) Watson; his daughter, Crystal (Jarrod) Omodeo, and his sister, Daisy Watson, all of Dayton; his grandchildren, Alexis (Matthew) Morris, Jordan Wilson, Haley Dorn; Helanna Watson, and Gage Watson; and his great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Morris, Aubree Wilson, Chloe Wilson, Hadlee Wilson, Daisy Watson, Mary Watson, and Belle Watson.

A graveside funeral service for Paul will be held at Rhea Memory Gardens in Dayton on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Anthony Smith officiating. Paul will be laid to rest next to his wife, Linda.
