Thomas John Hanczyk (Tom), 69, of Bean Station, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2026, at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. Tom was the beloved husband of Sharon Elaine Hanczyk, and together they shared a life filled with love, companionship, and cherished memories. He dedicated 32 years to Jabil as a tooling engineer, including 16 years in Arden, North Carolina, retiring in January 2026 and leaving behind a legacy of skill, dedication, and commitment to his work and colleagues. Outside of work, Tom enjoyed building classic muscle cars, riding motorcycles, boating, snowmobiling, and camping. His favorite place was his garage, where he could tinker, create, and work with his hands, finding joy in his projects and adventures. Tom will be remembered for his kind heart, generous spirit, gift of gab, and the love he shared with family and friends, touching many lives through his humor, compassion, and meaningful moments.

Tom is survived by his loving wife, Sharon Elaine Hanczyk; his stepdaughter, Kelly Foltz (Rick); his stepson, Kevin Powell (Rachael); his grandchildren, Gabby, Livy, and Emma; his brother, Brian Hanczyk (Chris); his sister, Kathie Maniet; along with his dear friends and best buddies, Nick and Becca Feher.

Tom will be deeply missed by all who knew him, and his memory will live on through the love he gave and the lives he touched.
