Willie Lewis Frazier, known lovingly by family and friends as “Wide Open” or “Hamburger” passed away on August 4, 2026. Willie was the son of the late Dexter and Alberta Frazier.

Willie was preceded in death by his parents Dexter Frazier and Alberta Curd Frazier. Two sisters, Betty Ann Knaff and Martha Rose Wells.

Willie is survived by his two children, daughter Talisha Hardy and son Willie Lewis Frazier Jr. Four grandchildren Ashante, Armonte, Tyisha, and Jasmine.

Three brothers Robert Frazier, Tommy Frazier, and Don (Dee) Frazier. Three sisters Barbara Jane (Rev. Ernest) Scruggs, Anna Lou Frazier, and Dionne (John) Tarkington.

Three great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Willie was a member of Little Leaf Baptist Church and as a young adult he would often help with the lawn care at the community cemetery.

Willie graduated from Clinton High School, during his middle and high school years, he was active in sports playing football, basketball, and running track. After completing high school, Willie went on to work alongside his father at Wheaton Van Lines. Willie would travel around the country moving families from place to place. He also was employed with Manufacturing Science of Oak Ridge, Tn. Later in life Willie went on to do what he loved most, which started out as a small gig to make as he would say “a little pocket change”. Willie would do landscaping and other odd jobs for families in the same community where he grew up. Willie continued this beyond retirement and was always willing to lend a helping hand. No job was ever too big or too small.

Willie would often be seen around town on his bicycle, which was his preferred mode of transportation. The family would often tease him that he could compete in the Tour de France.

Willie enjoyed watching The University of Tennessee football, you would usually see him with his fan gear on during football season.

Willie lived a full life marked by hard work, generosity, and a sense of humor that could light up any room.

The family would like to thank everyone for the kind words, thoughtful prayers, and all the support.

The family will be hosting a memorial service on Thursday, August 13, 2026, from 2:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. at Sharp Funeral Home of Oliver Springs, Tn.
