Joyce Miller Gleason, 84, of Crossville, passed away on August 21st, 2026 after a hard-fought battle with cancer.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cheryl Peach; grandson, Timothy Greene; husband, William R Gleason III; parents, Robert Cunningham Sr. and Anne Cunningham.

She is survived by her brother, Robert Murray Cunningham Jr; grandson, Robert Greene; stepson, Craig Gleason (Marlin); step grandson, Zachary Gleason; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Joyce was born in Nashville, TN on February 20, 1942 and lived in 10 states and 2 foreign countries before retiring to Crossville in 1999. She worked for GE Capital in the Financial Services Division and served as a Board member for Jonah’s Joy Home for Children. Her greatest joy came from time spent in fellowship with her church family at Central Baptist in Celebration Choir and Legacy Group.

Celebration of Life to be held Sunday, September 20th at 2pm at Central Baptist Church, Crossville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Jonah’s Joy.
