Dolly Jeanette Fields, age 93, of Pikeville, passed away peacefully in her sleep, Saturday, September 12, 2026 with her loving family by her side. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church, and a 1952 graduate of Bledsoe County High School. Dolly loved God and her family. She loved listening to bluegrass music, and enjoyed reading, cooking, scrapbooking, and traveling.

Dolly is preceded in death by her parents, Virgil Jackson and LouElla Walker Edmons; brother, Clayton Edmons; sisters, Mary Dawes and Marjie “Jo” Lewis; brothers-in-law, Murph Swafford, Harvie Lewis, and Randall Loyd.

Left behind to cherish her memory is her loving husband of seventy-one years, Bobby Joe Fields; daughter, Janet (Mike) Huskey; grandchildren, Kristyn and Conner Huskey; sisters, Tommye Fields and Emma Loyd; sister-in-law, Hazel Edmons; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

A celebration of life will be held at 1:00pm CDT Monday, September 14, 2026 in the Pikeville Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Donnie Lawson officiating. Burial will be in McDowell Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00pm-8:00pm CDT Sunday, September 13, 2026 and 10:00am until service time Monday at Pikeville Funeral Home.
