Visitation for Larry J. Anderson, age 78, of Dunlap, Tennessee, was held on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM from The Chapel of Goff Funeral Home. Private Interment was conducted in the Wilson Family Cemetery with Full Military Honors provided by the Veterans Honor Guard. Mr. Anderson was born on Saturday, November 22, 1947, in the Banner Springs Community, to the late Jesse and Rachel Brown Anderson. Mr. Anderson passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at Bledsoe County Nursing Home. Mr. Anderson was a Federal Coal Mine Inspector and enjoyed working with wood and carpentry. He was a United States Army Vietnam War Veteran earning 2 Bronze Stars. He was a member of Welcome Missionary Baptist Church. He was survived by his wife, Susan Wilson Anderson of Dunlap, TN; sons, Chris (Laura) Anderson of Pikeville, TN, Michael Anderson of Lebanon, TN; grandchildren, Luke Anderson, Victoria Anderson, and Sadie Anderson; brother, Bobby (Claudia) Anderson of WV; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Boyd Anderson. In lieu of flowers, the family requested memorial donations be given to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, 322 Eighth Avenue, 16th Floor, New York, NY 10001.
