BRANDY GOFF FACES MULTIPLE CHARGES IN COURT AFTER HIGH-SPEED PURSUIT AND DRUG ARREST
Brandy L. Goff is slated to appear in the Cumberland County General Sessions Court this week on October 8, 2026, to face a extensive list of felony and misdemeanor charges stemming from a high-speed incident that occurred late Sunday, September 6, 2026.
According to court filings and Crossville Police Department reports, the ordeal began when a fast-food employee at a Peavine Road McDonald’s spotted a glass drug pipe in a vehicle console and notified authorities. When officers approached the white Volkswagen Jetta, the driver—identified as Goff—abruptly fled, nearly striking an officer and prompting a pursuit that reached speeds of up to 124 mph on Interstate 40.
The chase crossed back roads before law enforcement deployed spike strips and executed a PIT maneuver, during which Goff’s vehicle struck a patrol unit. Authorities reported that Goff briefly brandished a CO2-powered Glock-style BB gun before complying with orders to drop it. A subsequent search of the vehicle recovered approximately 2.95 grams of suspected methamphetamine, prescription pills, and drug paraphernalia.
Goff’s upcoming court docket covers 15 separate case numbers filed between June and September 2026. The charges encompass:
-
Assault & Endangerment: Aggravated assault, assault on a first responder, reckless endangerment with a vehicle, and displaying an imitation firearm in a public place.
-
Flight & Driving Offenses: Evading arrest in a vehicle and multiple counts of driving with a revoked license.
-
Drug Offenses: Methamphetamine manufacturing, delivery, sale, and possession, alongside simple possession/casual exchange and drug paraphernalia charges.
Goff is being represented by the Public Defender’s office as her case proceeds in General Sessions Court.
