Alicia DeLynn Simmons, age 27, of Pikeville, passed away peacefully, Sunday, October 11, 2026 with her loving family by her side. She was a member of Wheeler Addition Church of God, and a 2018 graduate of Bledsoe County High School. Alicia loved God and her family. She enjoyed being outdoors, liked all animals, and was ready to yard sale anytime.

Alicia is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Douglas and Melba Simmons; maternal grandfather, Dion Swafford; maternal grandmother, Linda Measles.

Left behind to cherish her memory is her loving parents, James Douglas and Casoundra Swafford Simmons; brothers, Sidney Simmons and Walker Brown; grandmother, Linda Swafford; grandfather, Donnie Measles; her fur babies, Charlie and Kirby; several cousins, and a host of friends.

A celebration of life will be held at 1:00pm CDT Wednesday, October 14, 2026 in the Pikeville Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jeanie Brown officiating. Burial will be in Worthington Cemetery. Those serving as pallbearers are Brian Stanley, Dustin Watson, Walker Brown, Phillip Nelson, Josh Stewart, and Scott Keith. The family will receive friends from 4:00pm-8:00pm CDT Monday, October 12, 2026 and 11:00am-8:00pm Tuesday, October 13, 2026 and 9:30am until service time Wednesday at Pikeville Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Pikeville Funeral Home to help with final expenses.
