In Loving Memory of Kathryn Michelle Crider

February 7, 1952 – October 18, 2026

Kathryn Michelle Crider, lovingly known as Kathy, was born on February 7, 1952, in Crossville, Tennessee. She passed away on October 18, 2026, in the home of her granddaughter.

Kathy was a loving, caring, gentle, and funny woman who had a wonderful sense of humor and loved life. She enjoyed reading, listening to audiobooks, praising God, and spending time with her family. She especially loved keeping family traditions alive.

Despite enduring many hardships and heartbreaking losses, Kathy remained strong in her faith, always trusting that God would carry her through. Her favorite Bible verse was Philippians 4:13:

“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”

Kathy was preceded in death by her husband, Emmett Lee Crider; her daughters, Michelle Jean Boles, Melanie Lee Crider, and Renae Crider; and her parents, Claudia Sisco and Gilbert Sisco.

She is survived by her grandson, Jonathon Spurrier; granddaughters, Tara Spurrier, Sierra Spurrier Hall, and Alexis Nunley; great-grandchildren, Jala Spurrier, Zaedyn Spurrier, Reign Spurrier, Josiah Hall, Karmaleigh Galyon, Rhyett Galyon, and Elijah Hall; brothers, Jim Sisco and Michael Sisco; sisters, Jean Dodson and Linda Sisco; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Kathy will be remembered for her loving heart, gentle spirit, wonderful sense of humor, and unwavering faith. Her love and the traditions she cherished will live on through the generations of family she leaves behind.
