“A.J.” Armes, age 72, of Kingston, passed away February 11, 2020. He is survived by his loving wife: Mary Armes; daughter: Shannon (Jonathan) Thompson; stepson: Brian (Bridget) Goad; 5 grandchildren; brothers: Otis (Rhonda), Reuben (Rita), Randal (Betty), Ellis (Sharon); sisters: Mary (Roger) Nelson and Evelyn Freytag Price; sisters-in-law: Renita Armes and Brenda Houston; brother-in-law: Raymond (Marilyn) Patton; special niece and nephew: Melissa Painter and Robert Houston; and a host of nieces and nephews that loved him very much. The family will receive friends Friday, February 14, 2020 at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg from 5 until 7 p.m. with the funeral to follow. The family will have a private graveside service.
