A WEEK OF LOVELY WEATHER AHEAD

The forecast can be summed up basically in 7 words partly cloudy and cooler through the weekend. This is a beautiful weather pattern coming up that is going to last for the next week as a matter of fact and it will get gradually cooler with lows dropping into the upper 40s and the high temperatures will only be around 72 degrees. We will continue to get a breeze off the remains of Sally for the next couple of days coming from the north at 10 to 15 miles an hour. Autumn begins next Tuesday and the next 7 days will certainly feel like fall. Temperatures last night in our area dropped to near 60° but the National Low was 22 degrees at Grand Lake Colorado. The remains of Sally have spun off a few tornadoes in the Carolinas today and a pretty steady rain fell in the Smokies but only a couple of scattered showers in the valley of East Tennessee. Friday night will be beautiful for high school football with temperatures dropping through the 60s during the game but no chance of rain.
