The State medical examiner has released the cause of death for the seven victims killed in the Sumner County slayings.

State Medical examiner Dr. Feng Li said that all seven victims died from multiple blunt force injuries and some of the victims also had sharp force injuries.

The TBI identified Michael Cummins, 25, as the suspect in the killings. He was wounded by a police officer during the capture and remains in the hospital. Cummins has not been formally charged yet.
