Allen “Howard” Deitz, age 88, of Kingston, passed away May 19, 2021. He was a member of First Baptist Church Kingston. Howard married Joyce January 8, 1955 and served in the United States Army in Korea.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years: Joyce Deitz; parents: Nina and Rufus Deitz; and sister: Frankie Bryant.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law: Allen and Wanda Deitz; grandchildren: Lindsey Powell (David) and Adam Deitz (Nicole); great-grandchildren: Noah, Laylin and Ally Powell; and niece: Nancy Allen (David).

A Celebration of Life will be held from 5 until 7 p.m. eastern Friday, June 18, 2021 at First Baptist Church (Lower Atrium) in Kingston. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to, Hands of Mercy, P.O. Box 1168, Kingston, TN 37763.
