ALTERCATION AFTER SIMPLE REQUEST RESULTS IN ASSAULT REPORT IN TANSI

A Cumberland County man was fishing from a parking lot near the Tansi POA office when a man brought his dog over and threw a ball out near the other man’s fishing line. The man asked the dog owner if he could take his dog further down the beach so as not to spoil his fishing.

The other man reportedly became upset and said, “You don’t own this property.”

When the fisherman took out his phone to call Tansi police, the other man placed a hand on his holstered handgun and, according to the incident report, threatened the man, knocked the phone out of his hand and shoved him, then left.
