AMBIANO PRESSURE COOKERS RECALLED FOR BURN HAZARD; EIGHT SEVERELY BURNED

On October 9, 2025, approximately 46,660 Ambiano Electric Pressure Cookers, models 93550 (KY-318B), 96775 (KY-318A), and 98527 (6L-PC), were recalled due to a safety hazard. The issue stems from the pressure-cooker lid, which can be opened before sufficient steam pressure is released, potentially causing hot contents to escape and posing a burn injury risk to consumers.
These six- or eight-quart capacity cookers, sold exclusively at ALDI stores nationwide from January 2016 to December 2019 for about $40, have been linked to 11 incidents, including eight reports of severe burn injuries. Consumers are urged to immediately stop using the recalled pressure cookers and contact ALDI or Tempo International (USA) Inc. for a full refund, either by returning the intact unit to an ALDI store or submitting photos of the cooker with a cut power cord and model details via email.
For further assistance, consumers can reach ALDI at 800-325-7894, visit https://help.aldi.us/contact-form-product, or check the “Product Recalls” section on aldi.us. The recalled products were manufactured in China and imported by Tempo International (USA) Inc. of Aventura, Florida.
