ANDERSON COUNTY SCHOOL SYSTEM INVESTIGATING GRADE MANIPULATION AT CLINTON HIGH SCHOOL
The Anderson County School System officials are investigating possible student grade manipulation at Clinton High School.
So far, it has resulted in a suspension of a teacher and an administrator’s resignation.
School officials say it appears that at least one student’s records were possibly manipulated to meet graduation requirements.
Clinton High School Assistant Principal Amanda Powers has been appointed interim head principal by Director of Schools Tim Parrott.
The investigation is ongoing.
No further information was released.
Once the investigation is complete, the school system will deliver a full report to officials, parents, and community members during a future Anderson County Board of Education meeting.
