ANDERSON COUNTY WOMAN CHARGED WITH ATTEMPTED MURDER
An Anderson County woman has been charged with attempted first-degree murder. Officers arrived to the home on Dutch Valley Road to see the victim, Harold Duncan, coming out of the residence holding a blood soaked towel on his chest. He told deputies, that his wife, 72-year-old Pecola Duncan, allegedly stabbed him in the chest while he was napping on a recliner. Pecola Duncan told deputies that she stabbed her husband after he attacked her. The report states deputies did not discover any signs of a fight in the home. Harold Duncan was transported to U.T. Medical Center for what appeared to be life-threatening injuries. Pecola Duncan is being held in the Anderson County Detention Facility without bond. Her first court date is scheduled for December 4, 2019.
