Meigs County high school anglers teamed up with Rhea County and Soddy Daisy Saturday for a lake cleanup. Members went to several boat ramps and collected trash to be properly disposed of. The groups wish to thank the Meigs County Sheriff’s Department for providing gloves, pickers and trash bags that made the process easier. They encourage anyone throwing away garbage at the boat docks to please use the trash cans on site.
