Anita Frances Holder, age 51, of Harriman, passed away unexpectedly on April 2, 2024. She was born on April 14, 1972, and spent her whole life in the small town she loved. She was a graduate of Roane County High School and Roane State Community College. She spent 20+ years as the bookkeeper at Midtown Elementary School and touched the lives of every child who walked through those doors. She was most recently employed at Oak Ridge National Laboratory as an Administration Assistant and enjoyed the newly found family she had acquired in her short time there. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandkids, going to yard sales and was an avid collector of Tupperware.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother: Donald and Frances Holder; brother: Chuck Holder; and her special cousin: Mark Miles.

Anita leaves to cherish her memory, her son: Bradley Goss (Nicole); daughter: Haley Brown (Cody); granddaughters: Amayah and Braygan Goss; grandson: Bradaxe Goss, and granddaughter on-the-way Axley Goss; special mom: Della Holder; sister: Donna Johnson (Chris); special nephew: Gunnar Johnson; former spouse and friend: Brad Goss; special friend: Tracy Thompson; and a host of family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 1 until 3 p.m. Sunday, April 7, 2024, at Kyker Funeral Home of Kingston. The service will start at 3 p.m. in the Kyker Chapel. Burial to follow at Calvary Hazelwood Cemetery in Kingston with Reverend Mark McCoig officiating.
