ANNE STELLA O’BRIEN age 84 of Pikeville, TN passed away April 9, 2022. She was born May 12, 1937, in Rutland, VT the daughter of Phillip and Florence Luther Carrara. She graduated from Wilfred Academy in 1953. She was retired after 25 years from WCVB-Channel 5 in Needham, MA. She was very active in many clubs, being past president of the ladies 9- holers at Needham Golf Club and past president of the Ladies of the Elks, where she was names Lady Elk of the Year 2012 for her countless hours of volunteering. She also belonged to Mahjong, Got a Hole in One at Sugarmill Wood Country Club. She enjoyed traveling and had traveled all over the world.

She is survived by her husband- William J. O’Brien of Pikeville, TN, daughters- Theresa Weaver and her husband Gary of Pikeville, TN and Elizabeth Ralston and her husband Tom of Uxbridge, VT, grandchildren- Christopher O’Malley, James O’Malley and Sean O’Malley all of Orlando, FL, Lisa Woodworth of Groton, CT, Katherine Leenhouts of Woonsocket, RI, Jon Weaver of Reno, NV and Joshua Weaver of Glendale, AZ, great grandchildren- Christopher O’Malley Jr., Allison Woodworth, Ethan Woodworth, Leighana Boutiette and Aliyah Boutiette and brother- Phillip Carrara and his wife Emma of Brandon, VT.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A Celebration of Life is planned for the summer.
