PATRICK REYNOLDS EGGER, age 71 of Crossville, TN formerly of California, passed away April 9, 2022. He was born October 10, 1950, in Inglewood, CA the son of Charles and Jeanne Gamble Egger. Patrick was a 1972 graduate of Norte Dame University, something he was truly proud of. GO IRISH!!! He worked as an attorney in California for more than 30 years before he and his wife moved to Crossville in 2008. After relocating to Crossville, he continued to work as a public defender here in Tennessee.

He is survived by his wife- Karen Egger of Crossville, TN, sons- Jerry Egger of Elco, NV and Ryan Durham of Riverside, CA, daughters- Katy Vittera and her husband Mike of Flagstaff, AZ, Lisa Durham of Huntington Beach, CA and Katie Durham of Cherry Valley, CA and grandchildren- Chrissy Figueroa, Brandon Figueroa, Aiden Egger, Ava Egger, Tevin Durham and Aryan Durham.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday April 14, 2022, at 3pm at Hood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2pm-3pm prior to the service at the funeral home. A service will be held for family and friends in California at a later date. The family has respectfully asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
