Reservoir Conditions: The water temperature is in the upper 60’s and lower 70’s. The lake is at summer pool. The water is stained in many areas.

Bass: Most bass are shallow. Plenty of fish are being caught while using lipless lures, plastic worms, spinnerbaits, and flipping jigs. Fish around stumps, brush and grass. The water leading into the shallows will have some transition fish.

Crappie: Minnows or jigs are used equally. Fish blowdowns, brush, open secondary water, and bridges. 8 to 20 feet of water is the most fishy depth.

Bluegill/Shellcracker: Many fish are spawning. Use worms or crickets in shallow isolated water.

Catfish: Fish the main channel with meaty baits when the current is flowing.

Striped Bass: Some stripers are being caught in the lake and river by unsuspecting anglers. Most fish are being caught in the tailwater by anglers using shad.

Reservoir Conditions: Fishing is fair. The water temperature is 64 degrees and the lake is fairly stable.

Smallmouth Bass: Several smallmouth are being caught on mid-rigs, shaky heads, and swimbaits while fishing flats and points in 10-15 feet of water.

Largemouth Bass: Several largemouth are being caught while fishing soft plastics around grass and wood in 10 feet of water.

Crappie: A few crappie are being caught while fishing grass and sunken brush in 10 feet of water.

Walleye: Several walleye are being caught at night while casting crankbaits on channel banks in 10 feet of water.

CENTER HILL

Reservoir Conditions: Fishing is good. The water temperature is 65 degrees and the lake is fairly stable.

Bass: Lots of bass are being caught on topwater baits while fishing flooded bushes in the creeks.

Catfish: A few catfish are being caught on shad while using limblines in 2-5 feet of water.

Bluegill: A few are being caught on crickets on gravel banks in 10 feet of water.
