Cookeville police responded late yesterday to the Super 8 Motel at 440 Neal Street for an armed robbery. It was determined three males held a guest at gunpoint taking the victims drugs and money before fleeing the scene.

Officers quickly located two of the fleeing suspects running east on Neal Street where they were taken into custody. The third subject has not been located at this time.

Javone N. Williams, age 20, of McCalla, Alabama and Christopher H. Stevenson, age 19, of Knoxville, were charged with aggravated robbery. They are each being held at the Putnam County Jail on a $75,000 bond.
