AT LEAST 150 ACRES BURNED IN FENTRESS COUNTY WILDFIRE

Fentress County firefighters responded late yesterday to a large wildfire that burned at least 150 acres. Officials say 95 percent is contained as of sunrise today. The blaze was in a remote area south of Jamestown near Hoodtown Road. It did not pose a threat to any homes or structures. Fire officials said crews would assess the need for additional containment reinforcement this morning. No injuries have been reported.
