Knox County authorities and medics responded to a pedestrian struck by a train Wednesday night on the 900 block of Gill Avenue.  A 72-year-old man was hit while reportedly walking on the tracks. The male was conscious and was taken to U.T. Medical Center for treatment. Officials say he was last listed in stable condition.
