AUTHORITIES CAPTURE 2 OF 4 ESCAPED TEENS FROM NASHVILLE JUVENILE CENTER

Metro Nashville police said they arrested two of the four teens last night who escaped the Juvenile Justice Center this past weekend.

Officers say 16-year-old Decorrius Wright and 15-year-old Calvin Howse were taken into custody in Madison, Tennessee. Wright is one of the two murder suspects who escaped.

Police said the four teens escaped from the center downtown Saturday night. Police said the group of teens was on work detail when their supervisor left them alone while he broke up a fight somewhere else in the facility. The four teens managed to get on an elevator and reportedly used staff protocols to ride to the ground floor where they left the building. Authorities said nearly 35 minutes went by before anyone at the detention center called police.

The other two juveniles who are still at large include 17-year-old Morris Marsh who is a murder suspect and 17-year-old Brandon Caruthers who has armed robbery and gun possession charges. Officials said Marsh and Caruthers are considered extremely dangerous.
