AXE, TRACTOR, AND BUSH HOG STOLEN FROM TABOR LOOP GARAGE

Yesterday Deputy Nathan Lewis responded to Tabor loop in reference to a burglary. Upon arriving, he spoke with the property owner.
The property owner explained that he currently resides in Nashville but owns a local property that has been burglarized and has several friends who have helped him take care of the property over the years. The owner said that a man who helps take care of the mowing on the property noticed that a window was broken and called the owner in early November to let him know.
The owner told the deputy that he drove all the way from Nashville, looked inside the residence, and noticed only one item missing, an axe for chopping wood.
The next time he came to the property he noticed the garage door had been destroyed and his blue Ford tractor and orange Land pride bush hog were missing from the garage. This incident had to have occurred on the 8th of January just before last week’s snowfall, because there were no tracks in the snow.
The owner then showed the deputy of room inside the garage with a deadbolt that had been pried open, telling the deputy that the only belongings missing were the tractor, the bush hog, and the axe. The owner believes the burglar or burglars gained access by tearing off the door of the garage.
The deputy took photographs of the damages to the garage as well as obtained a photograph of the tractor in the bush hog. No charges have been filed yet as no suspects have been identified.
