BAXTER, TN, MAN WANTS LAWS CHANGED AFTER NEIGHBOR KILLED THREE OF HIS DOGS

A middle Tennessee man is fighting for change after he said a neighboring farmer shot and killed three dogs that got loose.

Jared Bandy of Putnam County says after the shooting, he lost his tempter and attacked his neighbor. It’s unclear whether either man will face charges.

According to a law expert, residents can kill an animal on their property if they or their animals are believed to be in danger.

Bandy is a small-time dog breeder, with kennels and a work shed on a rural property in Baxter, Tennessee.

On March 31, one of his dogs dug out a hole and went into the neighbors property.

Then Bandy heard gunshots and he rushed next door.

Three of his dogs, including one who was pregnant, were dead.

The neighbor admitted to shooting and killing the dogs because they had threatened nearby cattle… cattle that weren’t even on his property.

Bandy wants the laws changed
