BEAR LIGHT RECALL; FIRE AND BURN HAZARD

The Room2Room LED Iridescent Bear Lights, sold exclusively at Five Below stores and online, are being recalled due to a hazard where the power switch on the USB cord can overheat and melt, posing fire and burn risks. The affected product is a 7.5-inch tall by 9.3-inch wide bear-shaped LED light with a USB plug and on/off switch, identifiable by the sticker on the bottom reading “Room 2 Room,” “LED Iridescent Bear Light,” and model number “LD-0030,” along with UPC code “1922340368444” on the packaging.
Approximately 29,000 units are involved in this recall, announced on April 03, 2025. The lights were sold from September 2024 to February 2025 for about $12.
Consumers are advised to stop using the lights immediately and return them to any Five Below store or contact Five Below for a full refund, which can be issued as cash, store credit, a refund to the original credit card, or a check (with a photo of the light with its cord cut submitted). Proof of purchase is not required. The product should then be disposed of in household trash. The recall follows 28 reports of overheating and melting cords, including six cases of finger burns and two instances of property damage (burns to a wall and a headboard).
Consumer Contact Details:
The product was manufactured in China and distributed by 1616 Holdings Inc. and retailed by Five Below Inc., both of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The recall number is 25-204.
