Betty Jean (Hyder) Webb made her peaceful transition from this world to her Heavenly home with Jesus on 12/22/21. Betty was born on July 25, 1928 in Crossville, TN to Leston and Cecil Hyder.
Betty was a well-known woman of God: always speaking positive uplifting words, teaching others the ways of the Lord, an example of God’s love in the flesh.
Betty enjoyed reading, writing, and being a trend setter. She was a kind person who had a beautiful soul and a smile that would light up the room. She was loved by all who knew and met her. Betty’s adoring heart was reflected through the love she had for her daughter and son. They were her pride and joy.
Betty was preceded in death by her Husband JT Webb; Father Leston Hyder; Mother Cecil Hyder; Sister Virginia Lawson; and Son-in-Law John Hill
She is survived by her Daughter Barbara Hill of Crossville, TN; Son Terry Douglas Webb and wife Sally Webb of Crossville, TN; Sister Sara Anderson of Crossville,TN; Brother David Hyder and wife Norma Hyder of Crossville, TN; Grandson Bryan Webb and wife Candy Webb of Gallatin, TN; Granddaughter Tiffany Anderson and husband Chad Anderson of Thompsons Station, TN; Grandson Andy Hill of Jefferson City, TN; 7 great grandchildren and a long loving list of extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be held Monday December 27, 2021 at 2PM at Hood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Monday from 12pm-2pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Green Acres Memory Gardens
