Funeral Services for Billy Henry, age 86, of Monterey, Tennessee, will be conducted on Sunday, July 20, 2025, at 2:00 PM from The Chapel of Goff Funeral Home. Rev. Benton Flatt will officiate with interment to follow in the Henry Cemetery. Mr. Henry was born on Thursday, March 9, 1939, in Putnam County, Tennessee, to the late John Lee and Janie Ellen Tabors Henry. Mr. Henry passed away on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at Ascension Saint Thomas Highlands Hospital in Sparta, Tennessee. Mr. Henry was a self-employed welder, a United States Coast Guard Veteran, and a member of Verble Baptist Church. He was an excellent cook and had a fantastic sense of humor. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Elizabeth Soliz Henry of Monterey, TN; 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Michelle and Robert White of Sweetwater, TN, Melissa and Patrick Wade of Murfreesboro, TN; 1 son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Rochelle Henry of Canton, MO; 7 grandchildren, Rya Brice, Alex Brice, Brandon Brice, Lauryn Jackson, Reisha Henry, Kelias Henry, and Tyler Maxwell; 4 great grandchildren, Easton Maxwell, Aliyah Maxwell, Amaya White-Brice, and Reina Henry; and a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Arvil Henry, Lloyd Henry, Junior Henry, Georgia Ruth Bilbrey, Loretta Hedgecough, Mary Jean Henry, Bobby Henry, and 2 infant sisters.
