Billy Joe Daniels, age 73, of Harriman, passed away September 10, 2020. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army and retired for Watts Bar Nuclear Plant. He was a member of Union Lodge #38 F&AM in Kingston. Billy Joe loved to go fishing and hunt every chance he had.  He was very active within his community, he loved participating and volunteering his time at Riverfront Park and assisting in city events. He was preceded in death by his parents: Guy & Josie Daniels; and sisters: Joann Gallaher and Sue Hurst. He is survived by his wife: Donna Olmstead Daniels; daughters & sons-in-law: Tracie & Stan Wilson, Andrea & Trenton Kelsay, and Amanda & Charles Reynoles; brothers & sisters-in-law: Guy & Patsey Daniels, W.C. & Faye Daniels, Carol Ed Daniels, and Terry & Becky Daniels; 10 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Family and friends will receive friends Monday, September 14, 2020 from noon until 2 p.m. at Davis Funeral Home in Harriman.  Graveside services will follow in Roane Memorial Gardens in Rockwood with Roane County Honor Guard providing Military Honors.
