Monterey police responded Saturday morning to a burglar alarm at a store on Commercial Avenue. Upon arrival, they observed a shattered front window. A witness provided officers a description of a male that had been in front of the store just minutes prior to the incident. They located the suspect, Tracy M. Blaylock of Monterey, on Hanging Limb Highway and brought back to the scene. After being mirandized, he reportedly admitted to throwing a brick through the window and entering the establishment. Blaylock was arrested and charged with burglary.
