Bledsoe County Commissioner Brent Griffith has resigned his seat. The reason was placed on a new job opportunity he received and Griffith did not feel he would have adequate time to serve anymore. He was first elected to the commission in 2016 to fill an unexpired term. Griffith was elected to a full term in 2018 that was set to expire next year. The commission will meet soon will vote to appoint someone to fill the seat until the 2022 election.
